Amie is a pup from our spring 2005 litter. Her sire is Patriote and her dam is Trace. This year our annual hunting trip was to New Hampshire.  Amie was 5 months old and this was her first exposure to birds and guns.  When she heard the first gunshot she was startled but quickly noticed the excitement of the experienced dogs hunting dead.  After that she eagerly joined in the hunt; pointing, backing and even retrieving this grouse to hand.  She exceeded all our expectations for the first hunt!
